Hanging Stone is a meeting place of old, once used for trade due to its central proximity, and defensible stone outcrops from which archers could perch. Now, it's overgrown and many of the roads which once made this place so populous have turned to little more than dirt trails with dangerous rocks to trip over. The rocky outcrops have become an ideal ambush point, and are often used by roaming groups of bandits and goblinoids to ambush travellers.
