Immortal Characters are Characters that can gain special powers amd gain additional skills upon "immorting/remorting" upon achieving level 55 or higher.

Core Concept

Normal Characters that achieve level 55 will gain access to the Immortals Hall. Inside of which you can choose to have them become Immortal and be prompted to select an Immortal Path. You will also be prompted, after Path selection, to select one of probably many Immortal Powers. Upon achieving level 55 your character will receive 200 Immortal Points which, after becoming Immortal, can be spent on Immortal Skills. Your character is reset completely to level one. All Gold, Experience Points, and normal Skill Points are removed. You retain all permanent Advantages and any Titles thay your character has earned. Any named ultimate weapon your character owned is also removed. There are some exceptions which will be discussed later on...

Irreversible

Players will do well to take notice that there is a check box that says that these changes are IRREVERSIBLE(!) The only way to "start over" is to delete your character and remake them and start completely over.

Immortal Ranks and Remorting

Progress as an immortal is measured in rank rather than level. The higher the rank the character is the more immortal Powers they have. Remorting can occur only after level 55 plus until (?) Rank 20 after which remorting can only happen at level 60+. It is unsure what the "Rank Cap" is. The highest ranking Immortal Character Twee is rank 63. Take note however, there are only 20 relevant ranks where your character can gain additional Immortal Powers. Anything beyond rank 20 is just vanity. The higher the rank is the higher your Immortal Score Moodifier is. Remorting starts your character over just as it did the first time.

Immortal Points anf Skills

In addition to gaining the other bonuses your character receives when leveling up (AP, Skill Points, Wounds) your character will now also receive "ImPs" every time he/she levels up. The amount of ImPs he/she receives corresponds with their Immortal Rank:

  • Rank 1 - 1 point
  • Rank 5 - 5 points
  • Rank 15 - 15 points

And so on... Your character’s Path Power and Immortal Skills are upgraded using these points. Every time you upgrade your Path tier or skill rank the next levels cost goes up. In some cases it goes up slowly and gently. Other skills increase, not only in cost, but in power. It can be easy to squander ImPs early on so it is up to you to determine what is worth the effort.
